STRA Evacuation

The New South Wales (NSW) Government enacted new fire safety regulations for short-term rental accommodation (STRA). Evacuation plans that meet specific criteria will be needed at your property’s entrance and in all bedrooms.

The new rules will go into effect on November 1st, 2021.

Property Assessment

We can assess your property and determine the emergency assembly area and ‘you are here’ locations.



Evacuation Diagrams

Evacuation Diagrams will be provided for each bedroom and common area, and will comply with the STRA Fire Safety Standard and AS3745-2010.

Smoke & heat alarms

We can locate and test each of your smoke and/or heat alarms and confirm they’re in the correct position, and that they are compliant with the requirements of the new STRA Fire Safety Standard.

Emergency Advice Sheet

Our Emergency Advice Sheets provide your occupants with the critical information they need to have a safe stay.



Portable fire extinguishers & blankets

We offer two options to help keep your dwelling fire-safe. Visit the site and install your portable fire extinguisher & fire blanket to comply with AS2444 and the STRA Fire Safety Standard, or ship the portable fire extinguisher & fire blanket directly to you, for you to install yourself for a reduced fee.
